Fubuki Sato

Fubuki is presented as a lively child who is accustomed to the unusual circumstances surrounding her mother. She does not react to Kuroko's past or the arrival of supernatural visitors with the fear an outsider might be expected to show.

Her characterization is deliberately domestic. Fubuki's presence, together with her sibling, helps show the contrast between Kuroko's former occupation as Spirit Detective and the family life she now leads.

Fubuki is not established as a combatant and no named supernatural technique is attributed to her.

She lives in a household headed by a former Spirit Detective and is consequently familiar with discussions involving demons, spiritual power and Spirit World. The story does not establish her as possessing Kuroko's professional-level abilities.

Fubuki appears during Yusuke's visit to Kuroko in the Chapter Black Saga. Yusuke seeks out his predecessor because the emergence of humans with unusual psychic abilities has raised questions about the widening tunnel between the Human and Demon Worlds.

Through Fubuki, Kaisei and Shogo, the series shows that Kuroko has moved beyond her former work and established a family. Their home briefly becomes the setting where Yusuke learns more about the history and dangers of the Spirit Detective position.

Fubuki's role remains small and is tied primarily to this introduction of Kuroko and her post-Spirit-World life.

Kuroko Sanada is Fubuki's mother and a former Spirit Detective.

Shogo Sato is Fubuki's father.

Kaisei Sato is Fubuki's older sibling.

Yusuke Urameshi meets Fubuki while visiting the Sato household to speak with Kuroko.
