York is gluttonous, indolent, deceptive, and intensely ambitious. Her apparently simple routine helps other satellites overlook her capacity for long-term conspiracy.

She desires exclusive recognition as Vegapunk and dreams of becoming a World Noble. To achieve this, she is willing to betray every person with whom she shares a mind and history.

York is pragmatic enough to negotiate after capture, relying on the government’s need for her scientific knowledge.

York’s body processes food, sleep, and waste for the synchronized satellite network. She can consume enormous quantities and satisfy shared biological requirements.

She possesses Vegapunk’s scientific knowledge and knows how to manipulate Egghead’s command systems. Her authority as a satellite lets her command Seraphim without lower-ranking controllers being able to countermand the order.

York is not primarily a combatant and depends on deception, hostages, and government protection.

York secretly supplies the Five Elders with information about Vegapunk’s Void Century research. She imprisons Cipher Pol agents and manipulates the Seraphim into attacking the laboratory.

York murders Shaka, takes hostages, and attempts to bargain for World Noble status. The Straw Hats capture her, but the government later secures her because she can reproduce the Mother Flame.

Her betrayal provides the World Government with both justification and technical means for the siege of Egghead.

Vegapunk created York as the embodiment of greed. York betrays Vegapunk in pursuit of status.

Shaka discovers York’s hidden operation and is shot by her.

S-Snake, S-Hawk, S-Bear, and S-Shark receive York’s secret orders during the Egghead crisis.

Saint Jaygarcia Saturn negotiates with York on behalf of the World Government while regarding her demands as expendable.
